Job Description
Overview: Reporting to the Supervisor Supply Chain Finance, the incumbent has as a prime objective to supervise all accounting entries and inventory movements related to 3rd party warehouses and co-packers. He/she acts as the "plant controller" for the wholly owned warehouses. He/she organize, control and coordinate the preparation of the annual direct and period cost budget, assure that inventories are accurate and properly valuated.  Furthermore, the incumbent prepares the monthly analyses of spending performance and work closely with the operational management and other supply chain staff in order to find and apply cost saving measures.

Responsibilities: The incumbent should be willing to be evaluated on all accountabilities listed.
1.    Monitoring, updating and ensuring the accuracy of the inventory accounts for warehouses and co-packers:  Working  with production and supply chain departments, the incumbent monitors the accuracy of the inventory data base, report the obsolete and slow moving items, reviews and identifies solutions for the COGI errors. He/she organizes and conducts physical counts, reconcile the results and post the differences in the accounting system.  
2.    All warehouses and co-packers cost/variance accounting related to month-end close activities:  Ensuring all activities are completed and in accordance with the authorized corporate time-frame.  Perform/review analytical month-end reporting/narrative for management as required.
3.    Warehouses and co-packers budget & forecast: coordinate and assist the management with the preparation of the annual direct and period cost budget together with the BOY forecast.
4.    Warehouses and co-packers related, reconciliation of the following general ledger accounts on a monthly basis:
a. - Inventory accounts (finished goods, package materials and ingredients)
b. - GI/IR, Accrual and Prepaid
c. - Stock adjustments FG
d. - Inventory variance accounts
e. - CHEP pallets
5.    Assisting the Supervisor Supply Chain Finance on ad-hoc requirements: The incumbent may contribute to improve management decision-making by assisting the Supervisor Supply Chain Finance in the design and implementation of new accounting methods and systems, creating new reports, answering external auditors or management's ad-hoc requirements.  
6.    Work hand in hand with Warehouse managers: Day-to-day assistance in expense tracking and analysis, reporting, issues solving, budgeting and forecasting.
7.    Warehouses and Co-packers related, monitoring of cost performance and preparing monthly key reports:  He/she will perform duties including the timely preparation on a monthly basis of Inventory Adjustments Report, Obsolete/Slow Moving Inventory, Excess Inventory Report, Manufacturing Spending Variance Report, Unloading/Loading Performance and Storage Spending Report explaining all material variances related to stockpiles. He/she will help the warehouse managers to explain the monthly and YTD variances for the specific locations.
8.    Preparing and approving the monthly journal entries:  These entries include prepaid expenses, accruals and reclassification. 

Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Accounting
Professional designation (CPA)
A minimum a 5 year experience in manufacturing accounting.
