Job Description
Overview: The Sr. Business Process Consultant Hire To Retire provides functional and technical subject matter expertise within the Hire To Retire processes such as Workforce Planning, Recruiting, Organizational Management, Performance Management, Learning, Employer Branding, Employee Engagement, and Compensation & Benefits. This individual will work closely with business partners to support their strategy development, business process (re)design, definition of business requirements and developing business cases. This position will work closely with other IT Business Process Consultants, stakeholders and service providers in order to translate the business requirements into technical specifications that can be developed and delivered leveraging latest technologies and best practices in the industry. The Sr. Business Process Consultant Hire To Retire provides the day-to-day configuration and process support for Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) solutions in North America that are deployed to the production environment and managing service providers to conduct such changes within their environment.

Responsibilities: Works with stakeholders to determine Morton Salt's HRIS Strategy and roadmap for the Hire to Retire processes applying outstanding consultation and listening skills to help identify the requirements of line managers and HR practitioners, as well as comprehensive knowledge of the Human Capital Management marketplace.
Develop close working relationships with global, regional and local stakeholders and external partners to understand requests, gather requirements, perform ROI and risk analysis. 
Strong business knowledge, ability to anticipate and identify HR needs, capability to assess HR implications of business priorities and implement recommendations
Advise leaders on both strategic and tactical plans to support their business goals.
Continuously and proactively applies subject matter expertise in order to identify and recommend creative and innovative solutions.
Identify and act on key metrics for decision making.
Responsible for oversight of program/project management and expert leadership to coordinate, drive, and optimize the efforts of technical and functional teams through all phases of technology implementation, from requirements definition through planning, design, testing, deployment, optimization, and continuous improvement.
Works autonomously with a sense of urgency and motivation in a virtual and a fast-paced complex global, cross-functional environment
Manage systems/solution providers and vendors to develop implementation plans, set timelines, and ensures that deliverables are met by other members of the implementation team. Directs collaboration with third party application engineers regarding platform upgrades and deployment changes.
Assess and mitigate risks associated with functional project plans and implementation and steady state support
Manage all communication including support status, project status, challenges and risks to leadership
Act as the voice of the customer to make suggestions for improvements to Morton Salt's HR policies, benefits, initiatives, processes, etc.
Ensure technical solutions maintain design integrity, adhere to functional designs, and meet business needs.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related, preferred
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Strong strategic planning, problem solving, trouble shooting  and analytical skills
Ability to handle multiple conflicting priorities in a professional manner, good planning and organizing skills
Ability to effectively interact with a wide variety of stakeholders
Ability to effectively articulate and present complex concepts and ideas to IT development teams
Working in distributed team environments, self-motivated, and self-directed
Strategic thinking skills - developing a vision of what is possible, going beyond current constraints
Strong project management, delegation and prioritization skills
Strong end-to-end business process design and management skills
Excellent understanding of Human Resources business processes (e.g. Hire to Retire)
Proven track record of successful business process and digital transformation projects for HR (including strategy development, business process re/design, and implementation roadmap)
Minimum of 2 Full Life-cycle implementations of SuccessFactors, from planning to configuration through go-live
Experience in SAP HCM functionality, 2 full life cycle implementations desired including end-user support
Demonstrated implementation and integration experience  between SaaS based and on premise HRIS systems (e.g. SuccessFactors into SAP HCM)
Demonstrated experience with large Enterprise ERP implementations in the areas of technical design specification, development, and knowledge transfer.
Experience with payroll system implementations (e.g. ADP, UltiPro)
Basic understanding of governmental/regulatory requirements pertaining to Hire to Retire process
Experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook
Travel, domestic and international, up to 40%
Experience with provider management for outsourced business processes and HRIS systems
Business Process Management Certification
Basic understanding of SAP BW system and query design
German language skills
