Job Description

As the Customer Supply Chain Associate at Windsor Salt in Anjou this role will be responsible for:

  • Receiving, entering and managing customer purchase orders from order receipt to shipment of product.
  • Serve as Customer Service & Logistics rep with internal and external customers to balance service and cost.
  • Presenting ideas and supporting analysis to customers and internal partners to maximize logistical and process efficiencies.
  • Providing customer scorecards and implementing process improvements focused around key performance indicators and service level agreements.
  • Processing complaints and driving to resolution, responding to inquiries, providing shipment status.
  • Proactively working with customers by inquiring on satisfaction levels, analyzing order patterns, shipping alternatives, additional information, etc.
  • Utilizing analytical tools, systems, data, and reports to identify and lead service improvements.
  • Job training/job shadowing with new employees.

Job Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but will consider 3-5 years of related experience in lieu of degree
  • Previous experience in a customer focused environment, preferably in similar role in a Supply Chain in a B2B or B2C environment
  • Strong knowledge of computer applications such as SAP, AS400, Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook
  • Bi-lingual French and English is required
  • The ability to form, foster, and maintain strong positive business relationships across multiple units and sites.
  • Ability to confidently interact with all levels of the organization.
  • A comfort level with developing and delivering presentations to leadership and peer group.
  • The ability to work independently as well as across functional.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information.
