Job Description

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for planning, managing and executing all sales activities required to achieve results for assigned Industrial accounts. This will entail daily phone calls and emails, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales. Also responsible for assisting with special project assignment, including but not limited to business development, reporting and analytics, customer relationship management system maintenance, trade show management, or general support for the Industrial Sales Team as determined by the Industrial Sales Manager.

Responsibilities •Execute the business plan for assigned accounts, driving initiatives that result in Morton sales and margin growth throughout the channel.
•Source new sales opportunities within territory through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
•Support prospecting efforts within territory as directed by manager
•Team with channel partners to build pipeline
•Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
•Close sales and achieve established sales quotas
•Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
•Understand customer needs and requirements
•Understand Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
•Maintain internal data on customers through timely call-notes submission and related customer data tracking with SAP customer relationship management system
•Call on customers to generate orders for assigned customers based on historical patterns in geography
•Support special projects or account maintenance as directed by manager
•Provide complete communication to the Managers regarding findings in accounts
•Interface with Brand Manager, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Sales Planning, Production and other functions as needed
•Other duties as assigned

Qualifications •Bachelor’s degree.
•Strong selling and relationship building skills.
•Demonstrated communication skills, written, verbal and listening.
•Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
•Critical thinking skills and ability to problem solve with a bias for action.
•Customer-orientation and client development abilities.
•Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and  Word
 •Travel 5%
•Bachelor’s degree in Sales or Marketing preferred.
•Previous inside sales experience with a proven track record of success with an assigned sales quota preferred.
•Prospecting skills, including the ability to engage in high-level cold-calling to qualify and close new accounts.
•Proven presentation skills.
•Experience working with SAP or similar CRM
•Strong phone presence and experience making outbound calls
