Job Description

Must have a working knowledge of the MOC and plant trial process and be able to coordinate effectively with proper teams.

Working with the quality systems team, be the “super user” for the QMS system. Responsible for data entry, coordinating procedural and policy updates, new users, expired users, specifications, packaging data and other updates as needed.

Responsible for data coordination, publication and documentation of monthly KPI data from all plant locations. Develop and maintain a database of monthly KPI data to accurately present to the quality and operations team.

Must have an advanced working knowledge of the SAP system. Be able to effectively train individuals on how to use SAP

Support other projects as assigned

Partner with internal auditing team to incorporate policy requirements into audit standards; Monitor trends in customer and consumer complaints, non-conformances, and third-party audit findings to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in policies.

Collaborate with RQM’s to execute internal policy education, including policy reviews, roll-out plans, training sessions, and other activities to support execution of policy development.

Take ownership of the internal customer compliant process; this includes working with customer and consumer affairs to streamline the communication with the operations, sales, marketing and quality teams to maintain responses and the QN system.

This individual would be the gatekeeper and liaison of the supplier QN process to ensure that proper communication gets to the plants, supplier quality, procurement, Sr Corp QM, and RQM’s.

The primary responsibility of this position is maintaining the quality and food safety policies and programs for all Morton Salt facilities. This would include coordination of the Quality Management System (QMS), Quality Notification (QN) and SAP systems. This is accomplished through, but not limited to, the research and application of regulatory requirements and industry best practices, policy writing and review, and training and roll-out to affected parties.
