Job Description

As a Senior Credit Analyst for the Credit and Collections Department for Morton Salt in the Chicago Headquarters, you will responsible for the following:

  • Collaborating with various business partners to ensure timely processing of new accounts and changes to existing accounts
  • Establish credit lines for non-routine new accounts adhering to company policy.
  • Responsible for full maintenance of assigned key accounts.  To include collections,  deduction processing/resolution and communication with Sales and other business segments.
  • Review, resolve and release customer orders referred via credit trap that have been escalated from the Business Center in Chile. Action is in compliance with departmental guidelines while maintaining customer goodwill and expediting shipments. 
  • Responsible for all escalated collection activity on past due accounts to resolve account while pursuing assistance from other internal departments.
    Assist with summary billing, invoice mailing, CST placement and issues, and other duties.

Job Requirements

Our company values and recognizes the diversity of the workforce and encourages individuals with the equivalent combination of education and work experience. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Finance/Business degree (preferred).
  • At least 4 years Credit & Collections or Deductions management (preferred)
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency, High Radius experience is highly desirable
  • SAP Experience (strongly preferred)
  • Bi-lingual French and/or Spanish speaking/reading/writing preferred
  • Experience manage competing priorities and stakeholders
