Job Description

K+S Windsor Salt is part of the German K+S Group of companies. Headquartered in Pointe-Claire (Québec), We employ over 800 people across Canada.
 
Reporting to the National Retail Sales Manager, the Account Executive – Eastern Canada manage all sales efforts with assigned accounts to achieve Sales growth targets. 
 
 

Responsibilities Preparing and executing the annual business plan: business strategy, account strategies, action plans to grow sales and improve profitability with a pricing strategy to maintain a competitive edge.
Conducting HQ calls for assigned key accounts, and conducting regional required retail calls within territory setting promotions, merchandising, pricing and new distribution for designated customers.
Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers at all levels
Providing support in prospecting efforts within territory.
Investigating and reporting on competitive activity
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer files and providing complete communication to the Managers regarding findings in accounts.
Providing account-level data for post promotion analysis and coordinating with internal groups as needed.
Interfacing with Marketing Manager, Customer Service, Production and other departments as needed
Representing the company at trade shows and events

Qualifications Bachelor degree in business administration
Minimum of 5 years of experience in consumer products sales
Fluently Bilingual French and English (verbal and written)
Technology savvy (MS Office, SAP, Social Media)
Curious by nature with a desire to learn and comfortable with changes
Must have strong organization and time management skills
Highly self-motivated collaborative player, with excellent communication skills
Customer centric with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
Available to travel for customer and retail visits (approximately 30%)
