Job Description

As a trusted cross-functional business partner, the Corporate Strategy and Business Process Excellence department at Morton Salt facilitates and enables the development and execution of winning strategies. With a long term development perspective and working closely with our internal partners, the Manager, Strategy & Execution will:
•         Support  company leadership in setting long term company goals, cascading  these goals through the organization, as well as developing strategies for execution.
•         Oversee our strategic initiative portfolio supporting our long term goals while ensuring that resources are aligned, gaps are identified and appropriate mitigation measures are put in place.
•         Assess market trends, competitive behavior, internal capabilities and resources.
•         Identify, analyze & prioritize opportunities related to growth including ventures, acquisitions or partnerships.
•         Engage with internal stakeholders to drive consistency in project execution and business process management.
Support the communication of our strategy and progress towards achieving our long term goals.

Responsibilities •         Lead projects supporting key strategic priorities for the company.
•         Develop and implement strategic planning instruments and frameworks to further evolve our strategic planning process.
•         Support our functions in aligning their strategic plans with the company priorities.
•         Support the management of our Strategic Initiative Portfolio.
•         Develop a competitive intelligence system drawing from internal organizational knowledge as well as external information sources.
•         Conduct deep-dive competitor or acquisition target analysis projects.
•         Develop financial valuation models for business or acquisition opportunities.
•         Support the development of tools, frameworks and processes enabling the company to approach & execute strategies in a consistent way.
•         Act as a change agent challenging the status quo and advocating innovative thinking.
•         Create compelling presentation materials to communicate key insights and recommendations to senior executives.
Support reporting as it pertains to strategy development, tracking against long term goals and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications Education & Experiences:
•         Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, science, or engineering required; an MBA in finance, marketing or strategy  strongly preferred.
•         3-5 years of combined work experiences in strategy/management consulting and industry experience in Strategy, Business Development or Line Operations.
•         Strong project team leadership skills and experience.
•         Exceptional strategic and innovative thinking with strong analytical skills.
•         Ability to bring structure to ambiguous problems and rapidly evolving situations.
•         Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with stakeholders in the organization.
•         Passionate about collaboration, sharing learnings, knowledge and insights.
•         Experience in financial modelling and analyzing P&Ls.
•         Experience with competitive analysis & profiling.
•         Experience with Merger & Acquisition processes/projects and partnership/JV management.
Ability to successfully navigate intercultural challenges in a global context.
