Job Description

Responsible for the OU Americas Food B2B and Non-Food B2B business with direct P&L ownership in North America.  Leads cross-functional teams through all business planning and execution activities to position the business to achieve its short-term and long-term business results.  Partners with Sales Leadership to ensure that market and customer requirements are integrated into business and operational plans. Collaborates with LatAm Marketing Team to represent the OU Americas Industrial/B2B P&L, strategy and roadmap.

P&L Management
a.    Accountable for the North American B2B business P&Ls, contributing over $400MM in Net Sales; Oversight for entire OU Americas B2B P&L (including LatAm)
b.    Responsible for managing against a business scorecard and reporting to the Executive Team issues and opportunities to improve performance
c.    Partners with Brand Finance and cross functional team members to track, forecast, analyze and identify sources to improve P&L and business performance
Business Strategy & Execution
a.    Responsible for establishing and gaining alignment from the Executive Team on strategies and plans to improve profitability and achieve desired business and market objectives throughout OU Americas
b.    Align resources and lead cross-functional team to execute against strategies and tactics
c.    Manage performance and work closely with senior functional leaders to overcome barriers to achieve desired business goals
Business Development
a.    Closely monitor and identify changes in market, customer and competitor trends with the potential for impacting current and future business performance
b.    Identify market opportunities and risks, quantify/estimate P&L impact, and justify investments required to support future business growth
c.    Leads all commercialization efforts to ensure the B2B Sales & Marketing organization delivers against its growth commitments and portfolio expansion initiatives
d.    Establish and report against key performance metrics, addressing any gaps to budget and future commitments
e.    Provides input with Supply Chain & Operations to incorporate market requirements into short and long-term capacity planning
a.    Responsible for B2B innovation projects, including new product and service/business model transformation projects, from concept development through execution and customer sell-in and in-market performance
b.    Ensuring project portfolio value is aligned with corporate short-term and long-term goals
c.    Work with senior functional leaders and Director of Innovation to forecast capabilities and resources needed to execute against innovation pipeline
Build and Protect Long-Term Brand Equity in B2B key segments
a.    Use customer and consumer/end-user insights to drive business and brand activity, new products, strategies, and thought leadership
b.    Develop a clear brand vision, positioning, promise, goals and strategy
c.    Work with Communications and Sales Strategy & Planning teams to create communication vehicles and sales tools that convey brand value and justify selling price premiums       
d.    Measure performance and implement improvement measures to achieve desired customer experience
Pricing Strategy Development, Planning & Performance
a.    Provide strategic direction and collaborate with the pricing team to develop and optimize pricing architectures, strategies and plans per B2B market segment
b.    Integrate pricing strategies and plans into product strategies and plans
c.    Collaborate with Brand Finance and the pricing team to forecast and track the impact of pricing actions with regards to overall business and financial performance
Budgeting & Forecasting
a.    Participant in monthly integrated business planning meetings, providing key market drivers that will impact the forecast and ensuring new business opportunities and risks are incorporated into the demand plan
b.    Review baseline budget and financial forecast development and recommend adjustments to estimated sales volume and revenue attainment based on key growth initiatives, market growth rates, trends, opportunities and risks


  Bachelor’s degree required.  MBA preferred
  8+ years of B2B marketing and/or business-related experience.  P&L management experience required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Well-rounded business acumen with proven skills in Marketing, Brand and Finance
Strategic mindset and ability to translate strategy into actionable plans
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Excellent analytical and project management skills
Proven track record of success and ability to lead and influence others
