Job Description

Performs pricing analysis and recommendations to implement pricing strategy throughout all consumer and B2B channels.   Responsible for pricing record maintenance and systems execution.
 

 

Responsibilities Pricing Strategy Development
Supports Pricing Manager in developing/enhancing strategies that optimize our product mix and maximize margin while fully utilizing our production capabilities
Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to understand and balance customer requirements with production and logistics constraints when developing optimal pricing strategy
Support the development of executive-level presentations that summarize and gain alignment on the analysis and the strategic rationale underpinning pricing decisions and expected financial impact
 
Pricing Implementation and Analysis
Responsible for implementing pricing strategy at the individual customer level for assigned business segments
Works closely with Sales & Marketing to develop all required documents and tools supporting pricing strategy execution
Provide data-driven pricing recommendations to Pricing Manager based on market and consumer/customer trends and competitive landscape
 
Price Requests & Maintenance
Responsible for analyzing all price requests and providing a recommendation that is aligned with our pricing strategy
Partner with transportation to ensure accurate use of freight rates in price assessments
Accurately maintains all salt and freight pricing records
Maintains pricing guidelines and price lists for all products, channels and segments
 
Orders on Price Hold
Accountable for reviewing all orders placed on price hold
Work with cross-functional resources to resolve price discrepancies to ensure all orders are processed efficiently and effectively
 
Reporting
Perform monthly assessment to compare projected financial impact of pricing actions versus actual results
 
 
 

Qualifications Education:     Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience:   2+ years of pricing and/or business-related experience
 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Well-rounded business acumen with proven skills in Marketing, Brand and Finance
P&L management experience preferred, exposure to P&L management required
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Excellent analytical and project management skills
Proven ability to understand, analyze, and implement pricing strategies and effectively communicate and implement recommendations
Committed to consistently deliver on-time, accurate results
