Job Description


Evaluate and measure strengths and weakness of current program and lead change to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of program. Drive KPIs and serve as the company champion for the program. Develop and implement short and long term strategic Idea Management Program plans. Bridge the gap cross-departmentally to achieve key program directives both internally (Morton, K+S Windsor & Morton Bahamas) and externally ( OU Europe+). Revitalize and reenergize the program in Morton locations.
 
Essential Duties
•         Provide strategic oversight and tactical support for all Idea Management programmatic activities
•         Evaluate current procedures to drive positive process change, where necessary
•         Craft and implement strategic vision for the Idea Management Program
Drive KPIs through cross-departmental collaboration particularly with Vice Presidents
•         [BM1] Close cooperation with the Idea Coaches and consulting in all topics related to idea management
•         Oversee development and implementation of reporting tools and IT systems to support program and end users
Build robust training program and toolkits to support end users
•         Collaborate with departmental experts, as well as informational resources, that can help frame and advance the Idea Management program
•         Research and explore issues that have the potential to impact the Idea Management program and provide thought leadership
•         Direct communications with Germany to align the Idea Management program. 
 

 
 

Responsibilities  
Review and evaluate existing processes with project team
Process changes to align the Idea Management program
Communicate processes and expectations to stakeholders across the organization
Ensure compliance and consistency across the organization
Improve and troubleshoot SAP functionalities in collaboration with IT Morton and Kassel
Hold regular Skype meetings with idea coaches
Monitor and analyze program KPIs and derive appropriate actions
Champion the program and drive support from local management and supervisors
Initiate promotional campaigns, coordinate and drive implementation
Collaborate with Communications on newsletter, intranet and promotional materials
Conception and execution of idea manager meetings
Audit ideas pool for implementation at other sites
Collaborate with K+S TC Idea Management Lead to analyze ideas from K+S for implementation at Morton and vice versa
Provide training and support on processes, incl. SAP in Chicago and at plants
Support program implementation at new sites (Fairless Hills)
Present quarterly KPIs to Executive Team
Provide quarterly reports to necessary stakeholders
Provide info sessions to employees and supervisors
Support management, supervisors and employees in the idea evaluation process
Other duties as assigned
 
 

Qualifications Education:      Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited college or university
Experience:    5-10 years of experience
 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
•         Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
•         Strong Interpersonal skills with ability to influence others
•         The ability to train process participants Proven project management and program development experience
•         Demonstrated ability to work with tight timelines
•         Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
•         SAP experience a plus
 
Travel Requirements
Approximately 30% travel to domestic plants, Germany and Canada.
