Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Consolidations will be responsible for leading the consolidation of month-end financial results, month-end results analysis, and leading the monthly financial forecast process.  Additionally, the Sr. Analyst will be responsible for managing the financial systems and allocation rules used to calculate the results by customer segment.

Responsibilities Monthly Close:   
Prepare month-end P&L by legal entity and for consolidated North America
Work with our IT group to lead consolidation of financial results in system tools
Reconcile monthly financial results between FI and CO systems
Reconcile monthly financial results with parent company systems
Analyze financial results vs. budget, forecast and prior year
Analyze and investigate changes in other income and expenses
Prepare financial statements by customer segment
Prepare various supporting documentation, reporting and analyses as required by Morton and/or K+S leadership
Lead monthly financial forecast process for North America
Maintain list of Risks & Opportunities
Prepare consolidated P&L to accurately capture forecast inputs
Load forecast changes into financial systems
Analyze forecast vs. prior forecast, budget, and prior year
Prepare forecast reporting packages and various supporting documentation for Morton and/or K+S leadership
Manage Budget inputs and prepare P&L by legal entity and for consolidated North America
Prepare and input the Budget for intercompany transactions between North America entities and with other K+S entities
Prepare the Budget for other income and expense
Analyze all Budget submissions for reasonableness and completeness
Prepare revised segment allocation keys and work with our IT group to update system tools
Assist in the preparation of Executive level documents, analyses and presentations
Provide all required information in support of the annual audit
Provide monthly analysis of Morton Online Store income and expenses
Ad-hoc requests and special projects, as required

Qualifications Qualifications
Minimum 4-6 years
Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems)
Advanced Degree (MBA) preferred
Previous Experience in Financial Analysis, Financial Planning and Financial Forecasting
Previous SAP experience preferred (CO-PA, BW, FI)
Previous experience leading projects and driving change in an organization a plus
