Job Description

Provide Finance and Controlling support for Morton Salt’s North America Supply Chain function
Prepare month-end Actual results analysis and reports against Budget, prior forecast and last year for transportation, non-standard sourcing, warehouses and stockpiles
Work with Morton North America Supply Planning and Supply Chain to develop rolling forecasts, including customer freight, spending variances and non-standard sourcing forecasts
Work with Morton North America Supply Planning, Supply Chain and Supply Chain Finance to develop and oversee the development of the Supply Chain Budgets and MTP
Work with Morton North America Supply Chain to conduct financial analysis of strategic projects and cost reduction measures

Responsibilities 1.    Act as a role model to other members of the Morton Finance and Controlling organization by consistently demonstrating the Morton Values and living by the Finance Mission
2.    Partner with the Supply Chain leadership and Supply Chain Finance to create the annual Budget and Mid-Term Plan for the Morton and 3rd party warehouses, stockpiles and co-packers, which includes, but is not limited to STO Freight expense, Customer Freight expense, inventory loading expense, inventory unloading expense, co-packer tolling fees and warehouse/stockpile storage expenses
3.    Develop and manage the key integration points of the annual Budget calendar for Supply Chain Finance in accordance with the deliverables and timelines set forth by Morton corporate FP&A
4.    Develop monthly forecasts for non-standard sourcing variance, STO Freight rate variance, Customer Freight rate variance and warehousing and stockpile spending variances
5.    Complete monthly variance analysis of Supply Chain results vs. forecast, Budget and last year
6.    Provide commentary of Supply Chain results on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis to Morton corporate FP&A as necessary
7.    Working with Sr. Manager SCF & Controlling, develop a balanced scorecard for the Supply Chain Finance team and implement action plans to meet KPI targets
8.    Work with Supply Chain leadership to support and conduct Financial analysis of strategic projects as required, which includes capital project cash flow analysis and post-audit analysis
9.    Identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve business processes and employee efficiency
10. Develop and create a standard monthly KPI reporting package for Supply Chain
11. Standardize Supply Chain Finance and Controlling processes across Morton Salt, K+S Windsor Salt and Morton Bahamas, accordance with external audit guidelines and IFRS and GAAP accounting standards

Qualifications 5-7 years of experience
College Degree Required
