Job Description

Responsible for all aspects of Consumer Sales Planning. 
Coordinate with Brand team to develop, prioritize, and execute annual plans consistent with long-range goals.  
Partner with Sales to activate brand strategy, at the account level, by developing sales execution plans inclusive of trade, assortment and merchandising. 
Utilize advanced analytics to activate company initiatives in the marketplace.
Develop specific sales goals, information, and programs to translate into plans for field sales execution.
Provide insights, category growth objectives, strategies and key business topics to the field.
Directly manages the Senior Sales Analysts (3 people).

Responsibilities Develop and execute Sales Planning tools and capabilities with the team to move toward our vision (see attached).
Track sales performance, conduct root cause analysis driving any gaps to plan and facilitate a solution where possible.
Lead new product launch ROI and tracking.
Collaborate and build/maintain relationships with business partners (ex: Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Category Management) to gain understanding of trends, capabilities and limitations.
Lead the team to be their best and deliver outstanding service to the Sales and Marketing teams.

Qualifications Education:     Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, marketing, or economics.  MBA preferred. 

•         Experience:   5-7 years of Sales Planning experience in a Consumer Products company.

•         History of high performance ratings in current and recent positions

•         Outstanding organization, communication, presentation, collaboration, relationship building and management skills

•         Ability to coach and develop a team of professionals, including providing direction and feedback for personal development

•         Critical thinking skills and a “bias for action”

•         Demonstrated strong analytical experience

•         Strong SAP BI/BW and ERP skills

•         Strong MS Excel and Powerpoint skills

•         Previous experience working in a team environment

•         Thrives in a fast-paced heavy change environment

•         Ability to clearly convey ideas to all levels within the organization
