Job Description


The jobholder will administer all U.S. & Canada stockpile contractual databases, keep up to date all environmental permits and reporting as well as ensure COI’s vendor compliance.  The jobholder will maintain and audit system on rates, will be directly responsible for the resolution of the Pacweigh weekly audits and will partner with Customer Service, Logistics Execution and Marketing for processing delivery discrepancies. The jobholder is responsible for compiling, analyzing and reporting insights; leveraging support of internal teams within Supply Chain.

This position will be responsible for managing Bulk Operations monthly KPI reporting including L3 Balanced Scorecard, as well as the creation of new reports and metrics that will drive visibility and efficiency within the Supply Chain.  The jobholder will also support the U.S. & Canada Bulk Distribution team and Sr. Director Supply Chain Bulk Salt.


Administration of all terminal contracts, property, lease agreements, terminal operations, Contractor Safety Checklist and  Stockpile Manual 1H formsManage hard copies, file electronic versions in the share drive and Converge-Point and insure renewal/expiration dates are observed  Audit SAP rates against signed agreements Monthly Global Operations report (inventory) (K+S)Manage relationship with SRT to ensure compliance with COI’s for various suppliers and coordinate with suppliers or Distribution Managers is escalation is required.KPI/L3 & L4 Balanced Scorecard Monthly ReportingExcellent Record Keeping for all environmental filesSupport and create purchase requisitions for stockpile replenishment of purchased material and equipmentManage all terminal operational replenishments (RFID Cards, Bills of Lading, etc.)Maintain the Pacweigh Training Material for US & Canada and distribute to the different stockpiles accordingly.Maintain all US & Canada terminal contact information, holiday schedule and open/close stockpile files.SAP system data maintenance, vendor master data, process SAP voids, returns and delivery discrepancy management for all stockpiles and ERS Reversals.Monthly Reporting on Delivery Accuracy; partnering with Customer Service, Logistics Execution and Bulk Distribution to address root cause(s) and drive the teams towards an increase of Customer Delivery AccuracyManage the \u201cCommunities\u201d Share Point Site

Develop and maintain Monthly Handler Performance KPI Report (voids, manual tickets)Quarterly Handler Shrink Recovery and Claims ReportMonthly Throughput Guarantee ReportDevelop and Execute the Sustainability Stockpile ScorecardsDevelop Quarterly Budget vs. Actual per Stockpile Region ReportData Validation and Monthly Execution of the Balance Scorecard Report Generate and Distribute Daily Inventory Report, summarizing supply risks by orange and red alerts Drive continuous improvement within the Salt Group’s supply chainCoordinate small projects for the BDI team.Responsible for taking meeting minutes and logging action items at BDI-Supply Chain staff meetingsCoordinate meetings as requiredPerform various analysis as may be required


Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations and/or AnalyticsBachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related fieldExceptional organizational skillsIndividual who can work independently Experience with Business Warehouse or similar reporting packages, databases and analytical tools preferred. Advanced Word/Excel skills.Tableau Reporting experience preferredStrong understanding of SAP and Data ManagementStrong interpersonal and collaboration skills. Able to maintain strong positive business relationships across multiple units and sites. Able to work independently as well as across functional or matrix team structures.Ability to influence and build consensus around proposed opportunities within and outside of Supply Chain (Customer Service, Logistics Execution, Sales & Marketing, Finance, etc.) Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.Strong desire to work with data and the ability to extract meaning and provide insights from that data.Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to construct well-written documents that translate data into insights and provide the appropriate level of detail / information.Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong track record for execution and follow through when managing critical deadlines.
